Double-sided scans made easy
Scan all the fronts, then all the backs, and mix them into one document with every page in the right place.
Reverse and pages per turn
Reverse a file's page order, or take two or more pages from a file on each turn before moving to the next.
Preview the order
See the combined page order as thumbnails before you save. If one file runs out, the rest follow in turn.
Questions
Frequently asked
How do I combine front and back scans?
Add the front sides file first and the back sides file second. If the backs were scanned from the last page, turn on Reverse for that file.
What happens if the files have different page counts?
Pages alternate until one file runs out, then the remaining pages of the other files are added in turn.
Can I mix more than two PDFs?
Yes. Add as many files as you like. Pages are taken from each file in the order they appear in the list.
How is this different from Merge PDF?
Merge PDF adds whole files one after another. Alternate & Mix interleaves their pages, one page or a few pages at a time.
Is Alternate & Mix PDF free?
Yes. It is free to use, with no sign-up and no watermarks added to your files.
