How it works

How to convert PowerPoint to PDF

  1. 01

Remove any slides you don't want to share, then save the presentation.

  2. 02

Drop your .pptx, .ppt, .pps or .ppsx files into the upload area.

  3. 03

    Click Convert to PDF.

  4. 04

Download your PDF, with one slide on each page.

01

Slides keep their shape

Each slide becomes a page with the same widescreen or standard proportions as your deck, so nothing is cropped or stretched.

02

Old decks rescued

Presentations saved as .ppt by PowerPoint 97-2003 convert too, so archived talks and lectures open on any phone or tablet.

03

Easy for reviewers

Colleagues and clients can highlight and comment on the PDF in any PDF reader, without needing PowerPoint.

Questions

Frequently asked

Which PowerPoint file types are supported?

Presentations saved as .pptx or older .ppt, and slide shows saved as .ppsx or .pps.

Are animations and videos kept?

No. A PDF page is static, so each slide appears with all its animated items visible, and transitions and videos are left out.

Why do my fonts look slightly different?

Uncommon fonts are replaced with similar ones. Common fonts such as Calibri and Arial are matched with fonts of the same width, so text still fits its boxes.

How long does it take to convert PowerPoint to PDF?

Usually just a few seconds. Very large files can take a little longer.

Is PowerPoint to PDF free?

Yes. It is free to use, with no sign-up and no watermarks added to your files.
