Looks like the PDF
Each page keeps its layout, with text placed where it was and graphics drawn behind it.
Real, selectable text
Text is actual HTML text, so you can select, copy and search it, and search engines can read it.
A single file
Images are built into the page, so you get one .html file that is easy to share, upload or email.
Questions
Frequently asked
Will the HTML look like my PDF?
Yes. Every page is recreated with text in the same position and graphics as a background, so it looks very close to the original.
Can I edit the HTML?
Yes. Open it in any code editor. Text sits in positioned elements, so small wording changes are easy, while big layout changes are better made in the original document.
Is there a page limit?
You can convert PDFs of up to 200 pages at a time. Split longer documents first.
Why did I get a ZIP instead of an .html file?
PDFs with a very large number of images come as a ZIP with the page and its images side by side. Unzip it and open the .html file.
How long does it take to convert a PDF to HTML?
Usually just a few seconds. Very large files can take a little longer.
Is PDF to HTML free?
Yes. It is free to use, with no sign-up and no watermarks added to your files.
