Privacy Policy

Overview

This policy explains how CrestPDF (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use crestpdf.com. You don’t need an account to use our tools, and we don’t ask for your name or email address.

Your files

• Many tools work entirely in your web browser, so the file is never sent to us.
• Other tools (for example Office conversions, compression, OCR, repair and protection) send your file to our servers. It is processed and then deleted as soon as the result has been returned.
• If you create a share link, the file is stored until the link expires (1 hour, 24 hours or 7 days, as you choose) and then deleted.
• AI tools send your document to our AI provider to answer your questions. Documents are deleted from our storage and from the provider’s file storage within about 24 hours.

We don’t look at your files, sell them or use them to train AI models.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and tool usage (for example which tool was used, file types and counts). It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t identify you personally. We don’t use advertising trackers.

Technical data

Like any website, our hosting providers receive technical information such as your IP address and browser type when you make a request. We use it to deliver the Service, apply rate limits and prevent abuse, and we don’t keep it longer than needed for those purposes.

Stored on your device

If you save a signature in the Sign tool, it is kept in your browser’s local storage on your device only. You can delete it at any time from the tool or by clearing your browser data.

Service providers

We rely on these providers to run the Service. They process data only to provide their service to us:

• Vercel (website hosting and analytics)
• Cloudflare (API, file storage for share links and AI documents, web page rendering)
• Railway (document conversion servers)
• Anthropic (AI features)
