Questions
Frequently asked
What is an ODS file?
ODS (OpenDocument Spreadsheet) is an open file format for spreadsheets, used by LibreOffice Calc and supported by Excel and Google Sheets.
What if a page has no tables?
Its text is still included. Each line becomes a row, split into columns wherever there is a wide gap.
Can I convert a scanned PDF?
Yes. Choose Convert with OCR and the scanned figures are recognized before the spreadsheet is built. Check the totals afterward, since OCR can misread a digit.
How long does it take to convert PDF to ODS?
Usually just a few seconds. Very large files can take a little longer.
Is PDF to ODS free?
Yes. It is free to use, with no sign-up and no watermarks added to your files.
