Terms of Use

Who we are
CrestPDF (“CrestPDF”, “we”, “us”) provides the free online PDF tools at crestpdf.com (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
Use at your own risk
The Service is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability or non-infringement.
Conversions, compression, OCR, redaction, AI summaries, translations and every other output may be incomplete, inaccurate or different from the original. You are responsible for checking every result before you rely on it, and for keeping your own copies of your files. Don’t use the Service as the only place your documents are stored.
No liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrestPDF and its owners, employees and suppliers are not liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from or connected with your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes, without limitation, loss of data, files, profits, revenue, business or goodwill, and any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, however caused and even if we were told they were possible.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Your files and content
You keep all rights to the files you upload. You confirm that you have the right to process them and that doing so doesn’t break any law or anyone else’s rights. You give us permission to process your files only to provide the tool you asked for. How we handle files is described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything illegal, or to process content you have no right to use;
- upload malware, or try to attack, overload, probe or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
- get around rate limits or other restrictions, or use automated tools to access the Service in bulk;
- use share links to distribute unlawful, harmful or infringing material.
We may block access, remove shared files or refuse service at any time, for any reason.
AI features
AI tools (chat, summaries, translation and question generation) produce automated output that can be wrong. Don’t rely on it for legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the Service.
